Little Intro by Véronique

I was looking for how to write this page. It's not easy to talk about yourself.

And then I remembered the promise I made as a scout at age 12 in 1988: "The Guide is mistress of herself and shares her joy of living."

This sentence may seem naive, but it has accompanied me all my life, and I believe that it takes on its full meaning in the Bouge Avec Moi studio project.

Because on this platform, my mission is the same: to share my energy through movement control, in order to help you feel good in your head and in your body.

Hello! I'm Véro. I'm 47 years old, and I'm the founder of the studio. My career path so far has been very different, as my professional career has mainly focused on purchasing and business development within international companies, particularly in the energy, catering and agri-food sectors. Originally from Brittany, I studied and worked for 10 years in Paris before moving to the United Kingdom (with a short detour to the Netherlands). I now live in the English countryside, in Surrey, with my English husband and our four boys. I've always loved sport, but without loving the pressure that sometimes comes with it. I've always loved running, dancing and trying new exercises, appreciating the rhythm that music gives to our movements. Two years ago, I discovered Barre thanks to an excellent English online barre teacher. Last year, it was a revelation. I realized that a big dream for me would be to share this love of Barre exercises in French, by imagining a platform where I could encourage you to move, motivate you and make you smile. I understand the intensity and challenge of professional, parental and expatriate lives. This is why the format we offer is online, practical and with a weekly rhythm, with new videos posted on specific days each week. I also understand the challenges that the different stages of a woman's life can bring. Our classes aim to bring you a sense of well-being as well as strengthen your body to restore your self-confidence and prepare your health for tomorrow. Since this decision, I have trained professionally in several Pilates and Barre practices, and I have just obtained my Barre teacher certificate from two organizations: La Technique de Barre Lotte Berk and Barre Eclipse. Two wonderful, different and complementary practices. In this adventure, I had the chance to meet Natalia, already a Yoga teacher. Together, we followed the Barre Eclipse training. We laughed a lot together and then we said to ourselves that with first names and energy like ours, we absolutely had to teach together with a course that we named Barre Tonique. I let you read Natalia's profile, below.

Natalia Ewington

Hello! I'm Natalia. After working in cultural cooperation and then in the corporate sector in Asia, I decided to devote myself to my passion and teach yoga more than 10 years ago. Trained in Singapore in the traditional lineage of Sri Trimulai Krishnamacharya, my personal practice is very eclectic. Whether it's Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Yin or even Hot Yoga, I find interest and benefits in all these styles. My classes reflect this eclecticism, but I always pay particular attention to breathing, conscious movement and self-respect. Recently trained in Barre, I can't wait to share this new practice with my students. I am convinced that combining my knowledge of yoga and Barre will add even more fun and well-being to our sessions together!
